R.E.Y. provided a variety of construction management and land surveying services for this federally-funded project for the City of Placerville. The $9-million, Phase 2 consisted of constructing an auxiliary lane on US 50, a new freeway off-ramp, a new signalized intersection, a new park-and-ride facility, a new retaining wall, a new and improved multimodal trail and pedestrian facilities, utility improvements and the realignment of a major frontage (Forni Road) road. The project opened for use in October, 2019.
