R.E.Y. Engineers provided a full range of project management, engineering, design, surveying, and construction support services for the rehabilitation of Main Street in historic downtown Placerville.

The project involved a variety of infrastructure improvements including pavement rehabilitation, modernization of underground utility systems, ADA compliance and pedestrian-friendly improvements, and updated landscape and hardscape features.  Major elements of the project included preserving the historic features and character of downtown while ensuring compliance with current standards and codes, minimizing impacts to business owners and downtown events, and providing balanced solutions that met the needs and vision of stakeholders and fit within the available funding.
