R.E.Y. provided engineering and surveying services for the creation of a state-of-the-art baseball field in honor of fallen El Dorado County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeffrey Mitchell.  Slain in the line of duty in 2006, Deputy Mitchell had a passion for baseball and helped coach his six-year-old son’s little league team.  R.E.Y. services were provided pro-bono in support of Mrs. Mitchell’s wish to memorialize her husband’s sacrifice, as well as all other first responders who have fallen in the line of duty.  The park’s amenities include a little league field, play structures, public restrooms, terraced sitting areas and various aesthetic architectural features.
