The Colonial Heights Community water system supplies water to approximate 550 residences. Due to issues associated with system elements having reached their life span, the County contracted with R.E.Y. to study the cost of reconstructing the majority of the existing system to aid in planning and funding improvements. R.E.Y. prepared a preliminary water study that examined a new system to eliminate accessibility, low pressure and fire flow issues. Once the study was complete, R.E.Y. prepared an Opinion of Probable Cost to assist with budget planning. R.E.Y. services included project research, Preliminary Water Study, Opinion of Probable Cost, project meetings and coordination.
